Scotland to Newcastle Ferry

Lindisfarne Castle is now a National Trust property and the rooms have been set up to reflect some of the building's history. There are problems though, due to its extreme location on the North Sea. Penetrating damp, deterioration of stonework and windows letting in water may require it to be closed for renovations.
